Meeting called to order at 8:06 am
Those in attendance: Tom Houpert, Dorothy Wright, Dale Wilcox, Judy Tripodi, Sue Gumbart, Abbey Albrecht, Keira Eule, Joe Gomez, Susan Flynn, Tim Gannon, Richard Pleines and Prielle Kane.
New Chamber members: The Pet’s Friend, ASV Regulatory Consulting LLC, The Bergeron’s Antiques and furniture repair, Coldwell Banker Residential (Shelly Cumpstone), R&T Tree Removal LLC.
Guest Speaker: none scheduled
Treasurer’s Report: Provided by Dorothy Wright. The chamber lost $332 within the past 2 months. There are still membership dues outstanding. Motion to accept by Richard and seconded by Dale Wilcox. All were in favor.
July minutes approved as amended by Richard, Dale seconded and all in favor – motion carries.
Krier Business or Committee Report: Meet the press – scheduled for October 14th from 7pm-9pm. Sue and Fiona to submit resumes and bios. Also, there will be a “how to” sheet regarding putting an ad into the K11rier and helpful hints in addition to handouts for sizes and rates for advertisements.
Event Committee Report: Committees have been
formed to organize tasks for events:
Christmas in the Village: Prielle Kane, Abbey Albrecht, Judy Tripodi,
Joe Gomez and Carrie Sassi The Expo: Dale Wilcox, Joe Gomez, Tom
Houpert and Keira Eule.
Spoke about having the Expo/Business Trade Show at the Old Killingworth
True Value (Tom Cost is the contact) on November 6th and including
a chili cook off.
Annual meeting: To be held in April of 2011 possibly at the Killingworth
Equestrian Center.
